I intertwine both of my careers, filmmaking and music, in the form of music videos. As a musician, I know exactly what needs of the artist are. As a director, I make those needs come to life.
Being the singer of The Rumjacks, I have been given the trust to direct several of our music videos to keep our 232,000 subscribers engaged- and it has proven successful. With a variety of budgets I’ve ensured that each video has its own unique style, yet fits with the overall branding of the band.
I’ve handled productions from 20 person teams, to solo run and gun shoots. I’m here to make sure these ideas get executed with precision and efficiency.
Esteban by the Italian Folk duo Gotto Esplosivo is an example of a one man run and gun shoot. Shot in one day in the Bergamo Alps, I worked with the band to create a visual story that accompanied the song.
Lyric VIdeos & Visualizers
To supplement the release of a music video, an accompanying lyric video is almost necessary. These can range from full on productions, to one-shot videos, to animated text over backgrounds. Afterwords, these can be broken up into social assets for Instagram Reels, Tik Toks, etc.
BTS and Documentary
Documentary is the singular best way to get your fans to see the inner workings of the artistry. It builds a connection between the band and audience, and allows the people to get to know the band in a light that they hadn’t before.
